Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the team in Slough/Reading on a permanent basis. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC assets, respond to service calls, and ensure all paperwork is completed according to procedures.

The role requires gas qualifications and entails on-call standby duties in a 1:4 rotation. Key responsibilities include updating call and job status, inspecting gas-fired heating systems, LPHW, DX coils, and related equipment,

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas qualifications required.
• At least four of the listed certificates (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1).
• F Gas (2079) qualification and 17th/18th Edition are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC assets.
• Respond to service calls promptly and update status in the system.
• Identify issues and advise on replacements when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.

Job description

Commercial Gas Engineer Slough / Reading £46,994.00 (salary including on call standby 1:4) Permanent My client is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. Key Responsibilities

Commercial Gas Engineer Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. To respond (promptly and positively) to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as necessary within agreed timescales and response times. Updating the call and job status afterwards. Carry out service and maintenance on HVAC assets including but not limited to air handling units with gas fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers. To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and to make recommendations to the Line Manager regarding suitable replacement.
