Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to support a Central Belt portfolio. You will perform PPM, reactive maintenance and minor installations on commercial gas systems while ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.

The role requires valid Commercial Gas qualifications, good fault-finding skills, and the ability to work independently. A full UK driving licence is essential and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Commercial Gas qualifications (CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent).
• Experience servicing and maintaining commercial boilers and heating systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems.
• Service, maintain and repair boilers, heating systems and plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete minor installation and replacement works.
• Undertake basic plumbing and mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Ensure work complies with legislation and industry standards.
• Complete documentation accurately using electronic or paper systems.
• Interact professionally with clients and site contacts.
• Participate in on-call rota when required.
