Job summary

City Facilities Management Limited is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) for on-site duties across Luton, Stevenage and Bishops Stortford. The role is permanent with a 45-hour week, and a salary package including standby, overtime, travel time, and benefits.

The ideal candidate holds essential ACS commercial gas qualifications and SVQ/NVQ 3 in heating/VMC/HVAC, with full driving license and 24/7 on-call flexibility. A PDA system and ability to work at heights are preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential: SVQ/NVQ 3 in Heating/Ventilation/HVAC or equivalent.
• ACS Commercial Gas qualifications listed as minimum.
• Flexible to be on 24/7 on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Service and repair boilers, fans, pumps, AHU/FCU equipment.
• Carry out minor alterations/installations within competence per specs.
• Order spares per procedures and advise on replacements as needed.
• Identify non-repairable faults and brief HVAC supervisor with recommendations.

ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A)
