Job summary
City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is hiring a Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to cover Luton, Stevenage and Bishops Stortford. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across several retail stores, servicing boilers, AHUs/FCUs and air conditioning units, with regular site visits for repairs and minor installations.
The role requires SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in HVAC and ACS Commercial Gas qualifications, with desirable extras including City & Guilds 18th Edition and related gas certificates.
Qualifications
- Essential HVAC qualifications and gas safety certifications.
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance in retail environments.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rota is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
- Service and repair boilers, fans, pumps, AHUs and FCUs.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within competence.
- Order spares to laid-down procedures.
- Advise HVAC supervisor on non-repairable faults and replacements.
