Job summary

Our client in the North West is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to support commercial gas and heating systems across a variety of sites, including offices and warehouses. The role involves service, breakdowns, and repairs with a focus on safety and compliance, plus routine maintenance and accurate record-keeping.

Based in the North West, this permanent position offers £45,000–£48,000 depending on experience and an attractive OTE via a dedicated callout structure.

Qualifications

• Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1 or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial gas service, breakdown and repair.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to participate in callout rota.

Responsibilities

• Service, breakdown and repair works across commercial gas and heating systems.
• Working across a range of commercial buildings and sectors.
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive callout works.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults on commercial boilers and plant.
• Ensuring compliance and safety standards are met on every job.
• Completing accurate digital documentation and service records.
