Commercial Gas Engineer

Are you a Gas Engineer with both domestic and commercial experience seeking a rewarding career with a dynamic and growing company?

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of gas, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities include planned/reactive maintenance, testing/inspection, and ensuring efficient system operation, with a focus on safety and client satisfaction. You will cover Cumbria predominantly, but also working across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.

This role would suit a qualified gas/mechanical engineer with proven commercial experience, holding relevant certifications (CCN1, CDGA1, etc.). Candidates should also be flexibility for on-call duties and hold a valid UK driving license.

The Role:
Gas/plumbing planned and reactive maintenance for domestic and commercial projects
Testing and inspection of mechanical systems
Occasional installation work
Reports to Contracts and Project Managers within the maintenance division
Covering Cumbria predominantly, as well as Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire
On-call rota every 3-4 weeks, including weekends

The Person:
Commercial gas qualifications (COCN1)
Experience working on commercial sites
Knowledge of mechanical systems, testing, and inspection
Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points)
