Senior Commercial Gas Engineer / Mechanical Engineer £57/60k

My client is a leading Mechanical/Energy engineering company with 15 years of experience and over 70 staff members.

The Senior Commercial Heat Network Engineer will support the installation, maintenance, and operation of heat network equipment (Boilers, Chillers, Fan coil units, HIUs, Valves) across their client portfolio within London and the home counties.

This role also involves supporting the development of a team of Commercial Heat Network Engineers, working with the Head of Maintenance to build, develop, and provide technical support.

The role supports our Maintenance team and Client Services, playing a vital part in maintaining Insite's reputation for customer service & quality, and achieving growth plans.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications - COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A, CCN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 (minimum six months before renewal)
• Knowledge of heating control systems (preferred)
• Experience in service and maintenance environments
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to write reports and complete job cards to high standards
• Experience in building services engineering within district and community heating or large-scale plant rooms/energy centres
• Understanding of communal/district heating schemes

Package

• Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and qualifications
• 25 days holiday plus bank/public holidays and an additional birthday leave
