Job description

Urgently Required Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer OTE 50-55K

My client is a provider of M&E building services engineering and facilities management, offering tailored technical solutions to a high-specification client base, including maintenance and projects.

A Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer is needed to perform PPM, servicing, fault finding, and repairs on commercial gas heating systems such as boilers, gas-fired heating, LPHW, and radiant/plaque systems. The role also involves a 'first-look' at HVAC systems like AHU/FCU across various client environments, including commercial offices, corporate buildings, and retail spaces throughout Bolton.

Essential Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

• Commercial ACS Gas: COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a
• Strong servicing, fault-finding, and repair skills
• Good understanding of commercial gas & heating systems
• Basic knowledge of HVAC & general building services maintenance
• Experience in performing PPM on commercial gas heating systems in various environments
• Driving License (Maximum 6 Penalty Points)

Additional Information

• Company van (Ford Connect) with reasonable personal use
• Call-out rota 1-6, from Friday to Friday
• Call-out pay: £70 per week
• Working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 (30-minute lunch), Friday 08:00-15:30
• Overtime: Saturday after 12:00, Sunday & Bank/Public Holidays at double time
• Benefits: 25 days holiday + stat days + birthday, pension contribution 3%, and other benefits
