Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Covering Cumbria area (30mins E/W)
Salary: £43,000 + Overtime + Bonus Scheme
Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a stable role with a strong work-life balance and real career progression? What’s on Offer:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 (40 hours/week, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Call-out: £150 standby payment + minimum 4 hours paid
• Overtime Rates: 1.5x Mon–Sat, 2.0x Sundays
• Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + 8 bank holidays

• Mileage reimbursement if using personal vehicle (£0.22/mile)

About the Role:

• Primarily focused on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with some reactive maintenance and small works
• Exposure to a variety of sites (approx. 150), offering plenty of scope for learning and progression
• Opportunity to develop into a dual Gas Engineer/Supervisory role for the right candidate
• No specialist equipment on site, but strong support and structure in place
• Working independently in a newly created role, with a clear route to becoming a senior team member

What You’ll Need:

• Commercial Gas Qualifications (essential)
• Supervisor experience/qualifications (desirable but not required)
• Ability to represent the company on-site and maintain strong client relationships
• A proactive and professional attitude with a focus on safety and service quality
