Job summary

SER Limited in North West England is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established building services company. You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on commercial heating systems across client sites, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour week and a salary of £40,000–£45,000 per annum, with regular overtime opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Relevant gas engineering qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Current ACS qualifications.
• Commercial gas qualifications including CCN1, CEN1, HTR1 and related certificates.
• Unvented cylinder qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good knowledge of commercial heating systems and current regulations.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on commercial heating systems across a range of client sites throughout the North West.
• Ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulations and delivering a professional service to clients.

The Role

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Gas Engineering qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Current ACS qualifications
• Relevant commercial gas qualifications, including CCN1, CEN1, HTR1 and other applicable commercial gas certificates
• Unvented cylinder qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Good knowledge of commercial heating systems and current industry regulations
• Enhanced DBS check
