Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent with ACS certification.

• Experience in social housing is a plus.

Responsibilities

The role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs, ensuring gas appliances and installations are safe for continued use. The role also includes servicing and repairing Heat Interface Units (HIUs).

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out commercial gas servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Servicing and repairing HIUs.
• Completing gas work in line with current regulations and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate job records and relevant safety documentation.
• Communicating professionally with residents, clients and colleagues.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care.

What you'll need

• Proven hands-on experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications, or equivalent, and appropriate ACS certification.
• Valid commercial gas tickets.
• A good understanding of current gas safety legislation, building control requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Previous non-domestic experience, ideally within social housing.
• A practical approach to fault-finding and the ability to work independently.
• A full driving licence.
