As the Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commercial gas, heating, combustion, and building services engineering maintenance across various client properties.

This is a mobile role covering the following postcodes: DL/DH/SR/TS/LA

Job Description

In this role, your duties will involve fault finding, repairs, servicing, and installation of commercial and domestic gas systems, as well as HVAC systems.

Your focus will be on providing a world-class maintenance service, ensuring the efficient operation and safety of all systems under your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to exceed customer expectations.
• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and related tasks.
• Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
• Undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients' gas/heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant, including basic electrical fault finding.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship to meet relevant standards.
• Ensure that all gas/heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Experience with completing PPMs and some small replacements.
• Willing to complete general building maintenance.
• Commercial Gas Tickets.
• Domestic Gas Tickets.
• NVQ or C&G in Plumbing.
