Job summary

The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients, and attending premises to carry out service, breakdown and repair work. You will be a COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

Based across the East of England and Midlands with a national reach, this role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, a company vehicle, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work to health and safety standards and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out service and maintenance works on a variety of properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.

We are looking for a dynamic & motivated commercial gas engineer, with strong technical expertise, and solution oriented approach to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out service and maintenance works on a variety of properties across the region.

Key Attributes:

• With a friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.

• Experience in working on commercial gas heating and hot water systems

• COCN1 Qualified

Working hours are:

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs

1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
