Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central is seeking a Commercial Engineer to work with our engineering teams and attend premises for service, breakdown and repair of commercial gas heating and hot water systems. You will be COCN1 qualified with proven experience in commercial gas equipment and a focus on safety and quality.

The role involves visiting regions across the East of England and Midlands, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring all work meets required standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold COCN1 gas qualification and have experience with commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
• Ability to service, maintain and repair across various properties.
• Strong focus on health and safety, risk assessments and COSHH records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance on commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
• Attend premises to perform service, breakdown and repair work.
• Communicate progress and updates to clients and tenants, with paperwork completed electronically and manually.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Assist with stock ordering and auditing to ensure parts are available.
• Build strong relationships with clients and tenants to meet required standards.

The Commercial Engineer will work closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients, and attending premises to carry out service, breakdown and repair work. You will be an COCN1 gas qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.,

• Carrying out service and maintenance works on a variety of properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements. With a friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.

5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs 1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
