Anglian Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well‑established company in Suffolk. The role covers installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial gas/heating systems on varied projects.

You will hold valid Gas Safe qualifications (COCN1/CODNCO1/ICPN1/TPCP1A/CIGA1 as applicable) and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities for long‑term career progression in a friendly, professional team.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be involved in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial gas and heating systems across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
• Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and remedial works.
• Installation and commissioning of commercial boilers and associated plant.
• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
• Ensuring all work complies with current gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Completing relevant service reports and documentation.
• Working independently and alongside other engineers to deliver high-quality work.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
• Valid commercial Gas Safe qualifications and registration appropriate to the work.
• Relevant commercial gas qualifications such as COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or CIGA1, as applicable.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding commercial heating systems.
• Good technical knowledge of commercial boilers, burners and associated plant.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A professional, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Experience within industrial environments or working on larger commercial / industrial heating installations would be advantageous.
