Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Commercial Finance partner for a fixed-term 15-month contract in Leicester. You will support forecasting, analyse performance and advise on pricing and commercial decisions across key customer accounts.

Based in Ashton Green (LE4) with travel to other sites, the role offers flexible hybrid working and requires ACCA/CIMA or active study, plus strong finance and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualification, or actively studying towards qualification.
• Experience providing meaningful financial analysis and commercial support.
• Strong business partnering experience with stakeholder influence.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
• Strong communication skills to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly commercial forecasting and performance reviews.
• Analyse sales, margin and profitability performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial teams to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models, costing tools and customer profitability reporting.
• Support pricing reviews, inflation recovery initiatives and commercial negotiations.
• Provide financial input into customer tenders, contracts and new opportunities.
• Challenge assumptions with robust analysis to improve decisions.
• Ensure governance across customer agreements and terms.
• Deliver insightful reporting to support performance and profitability.
