Bid Solutions is seeking a Commercial Finance Modeller on a fixed-term contract through June 2027, remote with one office day a week in Twickenham. You will own the modelling behind a major business transition, including budgets, five-year planning, and TUPE financial impacts.

The role requires advanced Excel and strong business modelling, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders. A Big Four background or BI tool exposure would be a bonus; start ASAP.

Commercial Finance Modeller

Fixed-term contract to June 2027 | Home-based with one office day a week in Twickenham | Competitive package

Our client is going through a major business transition, and an internal promotion has opened up a hands-on role for an experienced commercial finance modeller.

You’ll report to the Finance Commercial Director and own the modelling behind the change. That means transition budgets, the future operating model as assumptions move, TUPE data and what it means for next year’s numbers, interim forecasts, the budget and the five-year plan. You’ll also model contract variations and change control, and support longer-term business modelling where time allows.

We’re after someone who understands how a business works, not just how a spreadsheet works. You’ll be able to pick this up and deliver with limited direction, producing models that stand up without being reworked.

You’ll need:

• Strong business modelling experience, well beyond Excel analysis
• Experience of TUPE transfers and their financial impact
• Advanced Excel
• The confidence to challenge and advise senior stakeholders

A Big Four background, experience of a major transition or contract renewal, and exposure to Tableau or similar BI tools would all be a bonus.

The preference is a fixed-term contract, but a day rate will be considered for the right person. Office time is flexible and can be grouped into four days a month. Start is as soon as possible.
