Job summary

Howett Thorpe is recruiting a Commercial Finance Manager for their Weybridge operation. The role is a hands-on, full ownership finance position reporting to the MD and based fully in the office.

Salary £60,000–£65,000 per annum, plus a company bonus scheme and clear scope for growth within a growing manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Experience within a manufacturing organisation is essential.
• QBE or part/fully qualified candidates will be considered.
• Multi company/entity experience.
• Sage experience would be beneficial.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Full preparation and production of the monthly managements as well as year-end figures.
• Overseeing financial projects, ensuring alignment with board’s objectives.
• Generate financial data, analyse and assess the financial health of the company.
• Control and oversight on finance policies and procedures.
• Full ownership of the annual budget, forecasting and financial modelling activity.
• Review monthly depreciation journal and fixed asset register reconciles to the nominal.
• Overseeing the transactional accounting function and ensure it is running at full efficiency.
• Preparation of monthly sales reports.
• Overseeing multiple financial entities and raising any queries to management.

Commercial Finance Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be managing a small finance team. This is a full hands-on finance position that requires a diverse finance skillset and someone who is capable of leading a finance function. Your key responsibilities will be:
