Your Role:

  • Oversee and manage the Main Contract invoicing. Including understanding the variances to budgeted / forecast invoice amounts and price contractual change.
  • Manage the collation of the volumetric data on a monthly basis, challenging results to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Maintain and develop pricing templates appropriate for different work categories (Change, Lifecycle, Minor New Works, Compensation Events, Barrack Damage, Dependency Notices, Third Party work)
  • Develop and implement financial modelling and provide general finance support to the Commercial Team in dealing with contract change or other opportunities / risks.
  • Support Central Finance in preparation of budgets and forecasts in relation to main contract activities. Along with providing pricing support and input to major bid activities.
  • Engaging in business partnering with a range of stakeholders to support the operational business.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: To be a fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) – this is essential. Being degree educated would be advantageous.
  • Experience: Have commercial awareness and contractual understanding along with general business knowledge. Experience in commercial pricing, PFI and Facilities Management would be beneficial but not essential. As would expertise in complex financial modelling capability and Defence sector accounting experience.
  • Skills: Strong MS Excel and system skills, excellent verbal and written communication and influencing abilities, organisational skills, and the capacity to challenge constructively.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
