Gifford and Partners are seeking to appoint a key role of Commercial Finance Manager - FP&A for a fast-growing, acquisitive business based in Leeds. This pivotal role will shape the financial and commercial direction of the business, with a global reach. It involves influencing M&A, commercial, and strategic decision-making, and acting as a true finance business partner to operations and non-financial stakeholders. The role will manage a team, provide insightful financial analysis, drive strategic decision-making, and enhance business performance through robust financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic objectives.
2. Provide commercial insights and financial modelling to aid decision-making at senior levels.
3. Develop and improve reporting frameworks to enhance business visibility and performance.
4. Partner with key stakeholders across the organization, influencing strategy and operational efficiency.
5. Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and financial analysis.
6. Manage and develop an FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should be a qualified accountant (ACMA/ACA/ACCA) with significant post-qualification experience, ideally in FP&A or a Commercial Finance capacity. You will be a commercially astute finance professional capable of influencing senior stakeholders, experienced in financial modelling, business partnering, and strategic planning. You should be confident managing teams and developing talent, adaptable, proactive, and hands-on in a broad and evolving role.
