Commercial Finance Business Partner (6 month FTC)

Role Profile

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to act as Commercial Finance Business Partner, Commercial (FTC).

Lloyd's List Intelligence is experiencing rapid growth and requires additional resources to establish best practices across its Commercial Finance and FP&A teams to support the expanding global business.

This includes focusing on reporting excellence, especially around Revenues, supported by robust reconciliation processes between Salesforce and NetSuite. It also involves working closely with the Product team to improve business case modelling and performance reporting to enable confident decision-making for continued growth.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role for an initial period of 6 months, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance.

The role offers a hybrid working model between home and our London (UK) office, which is well-connected with excellent transport links.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and insightful revenue reporting materials for month-end, board reporting, and weekly trading meetings.
• Review and improve financial models and processes to enable quicker and more accurate production and review of new product business cases.
• Redesign and implement end-to-end revenue capture and reporting processes, collaborating with Finance, Data, and Sales Operations.
• Develop financial reporting tools and dashboards to ensure accurate and timely data for senior management decision-making.
• Support the Head of Commercial Finance in providing commercial support across the business, including Sales and Product Teams.
• Assist the CFO, FP&A team, and other finance areas as needed.

What we are looking for:

Essential

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years' experience and proven track record in finance business partnering
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Confidence in building finance models using Excel
• Strong numerical and commercial skills

Desirable

• Experience working for a PE-backed business
• Experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite
