Job summary

Screwfix Direct Ltd. is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team in Yeovil. You will own store sales target modelling, support monthly KPI reporting, and help drive cost control and performance insights across 950+ Trade Counters.

You will collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Operations, utilizing Power BI and Excel to turn data into actionable guidance. This hybrid role offers flexible hours and opportunities to automate processes for greater efficiency.

Qualifications

Excellent Excel modelling and data presentation skills are essential.
Power BI knowledge is preferable.
Strong attention to detail ensuring right-first-time accuracy.

Responsibilities

Ownership of store sales targets from principle setting to modelling and budget alignment.
Management reporting on Store Support Programme including KPI trend analysis.
Prepare year-end impairment test jointly with Kingfisher and auditors to ensure IFRS compliance.
Month-end preparation and reconciliation of controllable costs with variance to budget and stakeholder communication.
Ad hoc projects to improve retail finance performance and automation.
Contribute to continuous improvement in retail finance and bigger Screwfix Finance function.
