Job summary

Parkside Recruitment is partnering with a well-established international organisation to recruit a commercially minded Management Accountant. The role emphasises business performance, forecasting and stakeholder engagement rather than pure financial accounting.

You will analyse performance, monitor margins, and collaborate with operational teams to improve profitability, with a strong emphasis on data-driven insights and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or equivalent).
• Experience in Management Accounting, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Analysis.
• Strong experience analysing financial statements, profitability, margins and ratios.
• Proven ability to deliver meaningful variance analysis and financial insight.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly and quarterly financial performance and provide meaningful commentary on variances.
• Monitor profitability, margins, and key business KPIs.
• Produce detailed management reports and performance dashboards.
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to support business growth.
• Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and investigate variances.
• Support financial planning activities and scenario modelling.
• Provide insight into future business performance and opportunities.
• Partner with department managers to provide financial insight and support pricing, profitability, and cost optimisation.
• Deliver financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting and business processes.
• Support automation and efficiency initiatives and contribute to finance systems controls.
