Please note that this role is based in Manchester, with a hybrid work model requiring office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Summary of our role

As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support. You will delegate tasks, guide junior team members, and promote understanding of financial processes within the agency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing month-end reports focusing on Gross Income (GI), including deferred income schedules and GI reporting documents.
• Serving as the main contact for internal agencies, driving financial performance on KPIs like Billability and GI.
• Participating in WIP meetings, monitoring actions, and challenging financials.
• Presenting monthly performance analyses at Senior Leadership meetings and providing future insights.
• Generating monthly network reports and maintaining trackers for revenue forecasting.
• Creating ad hoc reports as needed.

Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team

• Supporting junior team members through delegation and guidance.
• Building your profile within the agency and liaising with teams to ensure financial understanding.
• Providing advice and fostering positive working relationships.

Understanding and engaging with the agency

• Demonstrating knowledge of our services and explaining our portfolio confidently.
• Understanding roles of other departments and managing their involvement.
• Ensuring administrative and scheduling procedures are followed.
• Contributing to Havas Lynx’s goals.

This role could be a great fit if you:

• Are a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Are proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
• Have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Can interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly.
• Possess strong communication skills to explain financial principles to non-finance colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving skills.
