Overview
As On the Beach continues to grow its commercial team, we're looking for a motivated Commercial Finance Analyst who is either part qualified or at their Finals, to support key projects that drive revenue, contribute to strategic planning, and help stakeholders meet their targets.

In this role, you'll help analyse pricing, performance, and commercial opportunities-working closely with teams across trading, product, and content. You'll also gain exposure to areas like revenue management and data insights, making this a great opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse commercial performance:

Dive deep into sales, pricing strategies, and key profitability drivers to support the delivery of commercial targets across the business.

Pricing and profitability reviews:

Conduct regular reviews to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify margin improvement opportunities across products and channels.

Stakeholder collaboration:

Partner with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Department across Marketing, Aviation, Tech and Product and trading, to provide commercial insights and influence decision-making.

Insightful reporting:

Produce weekly sales performance reports with clear commercial commentary for senior leadership and the Board, ensuring visibility of key KPIs and risks.

Commercial modelling:

Develop robust financial and commercial models to evaluate new business opportunities, including scenario analysis, ROI assessments, and partner appraisals.

Strategic project support:

Work alongside the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Director to deliver analysis that underpins strategic initiatives, profitability reviews, and commercial transformation efforts.

Drive performance:

Use your commercial acumen to highlight underperforming areas and recommend actions to optimise results, contributing directly to the achievement of company targets.

About You
You're a Finalist or qualified accountant with around 3 years' experience in a commercial or business-facing finance role. You bring a strong analytical mindset, solid financial acumen, and a proactive, collaborative approach to solving problems and supporting business performance.

Communication:

Confident in presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to tailor messaging for different audiences and produce clear, professional reports.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team. You're supportive of others, value diverse perspectives, and understand the broader impact of your work across the business.

Commercial Focus:

Results-driven, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You take initiative and ownership of your work.

Analytical Thinking:

Skilled in gathering and interpreting internal and external data to support business decisions. You have a structured, methodical approach and a commercial mindset.

Technical Skills:

Advanced Excel skills, with experience building financial models, and confidence using PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools to present data clearly and professionally.

Our ways of working:

This role is full time hours, 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. We offer hybrid working, you'll be in the office 2 days per week and working from home 3 days per week, we have a hybrid policy where this can flex depending on location.
