Job description

A Wakefield-based software company is seeking to expand its finance team with an FP&A Analyst position. In this role, you will support senior finance by producing financial reports and providing commentary to assist the commercial team. As a vital member of the finance department, you will regularly communicate financial information to department heads. Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and highlight opportunities to enhance business performance
  • Work closely with senior management on a global scale, focusing on a specific client portfolio to ensure a solid understanding of the business and its commercial drivers
  • Assist in financial planning on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insights into business performance
  • Provide regular financial performance reporting and track key business KPIs
  • Support commercial modelling and assist in building business cases
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the finance function
  • Offer ad-hoc analysis, guidance, and support related to financial performance and processes
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as needed

Ideally, you will have experience in commercial finance and be either part-qualified (with 2 or fewer exams remaining) or fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to have a significant impact on the business.
