My client is currently looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team based in Bury. This permanent full-time role is working for a large PLC business that annually goes from strength to strength therefore there is fantastic career progression opportunities available within this role. Ideally they are looking for a candidate with strong academic background who has proven consistency. Key responsibilties within this role would be as follows:

• Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager, and working across all group fascias.
• Preparation of new store appraisals including income statement performance, and return on investment measures.
• Post opening assessment of performance & variance analysis.
• Preparation of financial appraisals prior to major refurbishment works.
• Provide store performance data & analytics to assist in strategic property decision making.
• Ad hoc analysis & reporting.

What we are looking for?

• Degree in maths/accounting/economics (2:1 or above)
• Enthusiasm and innovation
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience - In particular "Look Ups" / "Sum Ifs".
