Description

The Commercial Finance Analyst role is initially a 6-9 month contract and will be based full-time in the office in Bury. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, key responsibilities include:

1. Production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reports
2. Assisting with the budgeting and reforecasting process for all entities
3. Providing financial input into strategic long-term planning
4. Collating payroll data and distributing weekly/monthly reports
5. Assisting with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations
6. Supporting analysis and reporting activities
7. Developing and maintaining financial models, ensuring data accuracy and regular updates
8. Managing timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and stakeholder agreements
9. Participating in the design, development, and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues
10. Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required

Profile

To be suitable for this role, candidates should:

1. Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or qualified by experience
2. Have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and providing commentary/analysis
3. Be proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
4. Be able to commute full-time to the Bury location
5. Be open to a 6-9 month contract initially
