OVERVIEW

AtkinsClarke have been engaged by a FTSE 250 organisation to find a Commercial Finance Analyst for the Midlands region. This newly created role forms a critical part of the organisational desire to use data and information more effectively when making key decisions.

COMPANY

A recognised brand in the West Midlands, our client is a market leader in the consumer sector. With customers across the UK, the organisation is renowned for its best-in-class support services and this role will create additional capability to support the sites across the Midlands.

ROLE

This fully remote Commercial Finance Analyst position will actively partner with a few stakeholders across various local sites to create a more rounded view and to drive the success of business performance. Whilst remote, you will be expected to be at sites regularly to support business leaders, understand changes in performance and influence positive change.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Driving site performance through the production and analysis of financial and non-financial data
2. Presentation of risks and opportunities for each site
3. Creation of detailed commentary and recommendations for business leadership
4. Translating the data into insights for non-finance consumption
5. Being part of a management team to improve customer experience
6. No month end reporting requirements!

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The newly created Commercial Finance Analyst role will be able to manipulate high volumes of customer, product and site data to support the efficiency and decisions made locally.

In addition; ideally you will:

1. Have outstanding Excel skills – ideally competent with VBA and PowerBI
2. Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. Have a passion for making improvements and an eye for detail to spot trends
4. Be able to build strong effective relationships with stakeholders
5. Demonstrated business and financial acumen
