We’re all about helping them to shine.

Deliver property maintenance services in line with all group standards, key performance indicators, and targets ensuring high standards are consistently met together with observing all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

How will you be the change?

We believe every role is essential to providing that peace of mind for our customers - whatever part of the business you’re in. Every role plays a part in driving us further. Everyone can be the change. That’s how we deliver value for our customers and build systems that lead the way.

As a Commercial Fabric Engineer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by:

  • Performing planned and reactive trade-related maintenance within assigned areas, utilising skills and expertise as allocated by the Scheduler and/or relevant managers.
  • Carrying out minor repair and decoration work, ensuring the appearance and functionality of the site are maintained to a high standard.
  • Managing van stock as required.
  • Attending to emergency repairs promptly and participating in out-of-hours call-out rotations when necessary.
  • Diagnosing and providing solutions to rectify faults, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Taking measurements, estimating labour, and identifying material requirements for follow-on works via the red reporting system.
  • Collaborating with other trades to support broader maintenance tasks as needed.

Compliance

  • Ensuring timely, accurate submission of electronic worksheets and timesheets.
  • Providing accurate paper-based documents where required.
  • Submitting detailed task reports and red reports, as necessary.
  • Capturing and delivering photographic (before and after) records of completed work.
  • Ensuring full compliance with client requirements for signing in/out of record books (Bellrock and LFB folders), scanning off at the end of each task.
  • Maintaining and exercising divergence with company plant/equipment – promptly highlighting defectives to line managers when necessary.
  • Driving in a safe and diligent manner observing road traffic legislation.

Internal & External Customer Relations

  • Always upholding the company’s professional image.
  • Fostering strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders through effective communication.
  • Efficiently reporting any delays or issues to Schedulers, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Resolving client-related concerns or disputes with a purposeful approach.
  • Ensuring workspaces are always kept clean and orderly.

Health & Safety

  • Conducting work in a safe and diligent manner adhering to company policies, procedures, risk & method statements.
  • Assisting in monitoring practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant SHE legislation and regulations.
  • Reporting any H&S issues, concerns, bad practice, or non-conformance to Management.
  • Undertaking robust site-specific risk assessments.

General

  • Understanding & complying with companywide policies and procedures.
  • Fully participating in training activities including e-learning.
  • Contributing to departmental meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Performing other duties consistent with the post-holder’s knowledge and skills which are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or business goals.
  • Complying with the Company’s equal opportunities policy and all other policies designed to protect employees or clients from unequal treatment or harassment.

What does it take?

If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Commercial Fabric Engineer, you’ll need:

  • Recognised qualifications in building maintenance, carpentry or related field.
