Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking an Estimator to join its pre-construction team and help secure future projects across a range of commercial construction sectors.

You will work closely with senior management to prepare accurate tenders, perform take-offs, price schedules and supplier quotations while managing multiple tenders to meet deadlines in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong commercial project experience is essential.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications.
• Producing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Carrying out take-offs and quantity measurements.
• Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identifying risks and opportunities within project documentation.
• Preparing cost plans and pricing schedules.
• Supporting bid presentations and client discussions where required.
• Maintaining tender records and documentation.
• Working closely with delivery teams during project handovers.
