Job summary

WeHireTrades is recruiting experienced Commercial Electricians for ongoing and upcoming projects across the South West, including Somerset, Bristol, Bath, and surrounding areas. Work spans commercial installations, containment, SWA and cabling, lighting, power distribution, and first/second fix on refurbishments.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition, ECS/JIB card, and own tools. Testing qualifications are advantageous; ability to work independently or in a site team is

Qualifications

• Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• A valid 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
• ECS/JIB card is required or accepted.
• Previous commercial electrical experience and ability to work on-site.
• Testing qualifications are advantageous but not essential for all roles.

Responsibilities

• Commercial installations across multiple sites.
• Containment work including tray, basket, conduit and trunking.
• SWA cabling and general cabling tasks.
• Lighting and power installations and distribution boards.
• First and second fix tasks on refurbishments and fit-outs.
• Testing and fault finding where qualified.

Commercial Electricians - Multiple Projects Across the South West

Location: South West England - multiple locations

Job Type: Contract / Temporary

Sector: Commercial Electrical

Pay: Competitive rates - dependent on project, location and experience

WeHireTrades are currently recruiting experienced Commercial Electricians for a number of ongoing and upcoming projects across the South West.

We work with electrical contractors and construction businesses throughout the region and are looking to build our network of reliable electricians for both immediate starts and upcoming projects.

The Work

Projects will vary but may include:

• Commercial installations
• Containment - tray, basket, conduit and trunking
• SWA and cabling
• Lighting and power installations
• Distribution boards
• First and second fix
• Refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Testing and fault finding where appropriately qualified

Projects are available across Somerset, Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification
• 18th Edition
• ECS/JIB card
• Previous commercial electrical experience
• Own tools
• Good standard of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
• Testing qualifications are advantageous but not essential for all roles
