Job summary

Thornbury Castle, part of Relais & Châteaux, seeks a senior Commercial Manager to own the hotel’s commercial plan and revenue strategy across rooms, F&B and events. You will lead a small team, prospect for new business, and close deals with corporate clients, agents, and tour operators, representing the castle at shows and events.

You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, monitor market trends, and drive revenue growth

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial, sales or events role, ideally in hotels.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to interpret data and drive results.
• Collaborative, approachable leader who sets the standard for the team.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy across rooms, F&B and events.
• Lead and develop the Sales & Events team; coach and support them.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with clients, agents and tour operators.
