Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting a Commercial Director for an established business based in Stoke-on-Trent. You will lead the sales function, inspire account managers and business development colleagues, and translate forecasts into profitable growth across UK and international markets.

You’ll set targets, coach teams, manage forecasts and budgets, and identify revenue and margin opportunities while collaborating with the wider leadership team to remove blockers to growth. Travel involved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a B2B sales team.
• Track record of coaching and raising performance.
• Strong understanding of revenue, margin and profitability.
• Experience owning sales forecasts and budgets.
• Experience with strategic account development and new business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales function and drive profitable growth.
• Coach and develop the team, set targets and hold people to account.
• Manage forecasts, budgets and pipeline with confidence.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin and customer development.
• Represent the business in key customer meetings and negotiations.
• Travel UK and international as required.
