Job description

We’re Arc Legal, a specialist provider of ancillary insurance products and part of the global AmTrust Financial group. With over 20 years of experience, we are committed to delivering high-quality, bespoke products and excellent customer service.

We are now recruiting a Commercial Director to join our team as we enter the next phase of our growth. The role can be based anywhere, but since our core operations are in Colchester, regular visits to the office are expected.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in the commercial aspects of insurance, including deal structuring and proposition development. You should have a proven track record of supporting profitable growth and understanding the insurance market to identify new opportunities. This leadership role requires a strategic mindset and active involvement in business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the development, engagement, and implementation of the commercial strategy.
  2. Overseeing commercial activities such as product management, account management, and marketing.
  3. Developing and supporting new business initiatives to drive profitable growth.
  4. Managing declarations, partner financial accounts, and budgeting processes.
  5. Ensuring regulatory compliance for all group products, including proper policy documentation.
