As we prepare for an exciting expansion across key cities in the UK, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Director to join our senior leadership team.

Position Overview:

The Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hotal. This leadership position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in managing sales teams, marketing, and finance with a strong sales background. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a strong desire to advance to the position of Managing Director. While experience in scaling businesses is beneficial, it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of positivity, accountability, and collaboration.
  2. Oversee and manage the performance of senior direct reports.
  3. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive the successful launch of Hotal in key cities.
  4. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  5. Utilise a hands-on approach to sales, actively participating in negotiations and closing deals.
  6. Champion a solutions-oriented mindset within the team, breaking down barriers and encouraging initiative across all departments.
  7. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximise opportunities for growth and revenue.

Qualifications / Skills:

  1. Strong sales experience is key – ideally a background in a Head of Sales role.
  2. Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, preferably within the hospitality sector, though backgrounds in legal, beauty, or medical fields will also be considered.
  3. Demonstrated success in managing and scaling sales teams, with a strong understanding of marketing and financial principles.
  4. Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire others and drive results.
  6. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of navigating challenges and finding innovative ways to achieve goals.
