Job summary

EDF is recruiting a Commercial Assistant for the Hinkley Point C project. You will support the Deputy Commercial Manager with monthly payment applications, data management and reporting, and preparation of cost analyses.

In this role you will manage large datasets, use SAP or similar procurement software, and contribute to KPI tracking and cost control across the project. Collaboration with the commercial and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with large datasets or data reporting tools.
• Experience in data entry and data management.
• Familiarity with financial or commercial reporting processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar procurement software.
• Experience on large-scale projects, preferably in regulated sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and submitting monthly payment applications.
• Data entry and management across the commercial team.
• Managing data reporting and tracking performance against KPIs.
• Compiling and analysing project and cost data.
• Preparing quotations for additional and out-of-scope works.
• Conducting cost/value analysis exercises.
• Forecasting labour and material requirements.
• Assessing project costs and contracts.
• Providing cost advice to clients and project teams.
• Supporting commercial awareness of operational teams, including budgets.
• Creating and maintaining visual data presentations, including graphs and charts.
