Job summary
Randstad UK is seeking a junior to mid-level legal professional to provide broad legal support across Randstad UK & Ireland. The role covers contentious and non-contentious matters, prioritising work to align with strategic business needs.
You will lead client contract negotiations, support senior colleagues on complex agreements, and help roll out contracting strategies. The role also supports bids, supplier contracts, and dispute avoidance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the UK or ILEX.
- Experience in recruitment or service industries preferred but not essential.
- Understanding outsourcing, procurement, and supply chain contracting.
- Experience with RFPs/sales support in competitive tenders.
- Ability to navigate a medium to large international company.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations on simple client agreements and amendments.
- Support senior team with review and negotiation of complex client agreements.
- Assist with contracting strategy development and training.
- Support sales and Contract Manager with bids and risk reviews.
- Review supplier contracts and deliver ready-to-send legal comments.
- Assist paralegal with supplier validation and compliance checks.
- Assist with dispute avoidance tactics and pre-litigation management.
