Job summary

TSR Legal is recruiting a Legal Counsel in Cardiff. The role supports senior stakeholders across sales, procurement, technology, finance, and operations, providing practical legal advice and managing a broad range of commercial matters.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, and help improve legal workflows within a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or lawyer with strong commercial experience.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts.
• Practical, solution-oriented legal advice for business stakeholders.
• Ability to balance commercial priorities with legal/regulatory risk.
• Experience with technology, SaaS, data or other B2B commercial arrangements advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (customer, supplier, SaaS, technology, services).
• Provide clear, pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice to stakeholders.
• Support sales and procurement through the contract lifecycle from review to execution.
• Identify, assess and manage legal and contractual risks; escalate material issues as needed.
• Advise on contract terms including liability, indemnities, IP, confidentiality, data protection, termination and governing law.
• Develop and maintain standard contracts, templates, and playbooks; improve legal workflows.
