Job summary

Rullion Ltd is seeking a Commercial/Contract Manager for an on-site role in Avonmouth, Bristol. This permanent or contract position offers up to 40 hours per week, with 4 days on site.

Start date ASAP with BPSS security vetting; salary around £64,200 and a benefits package. You will manage major contracts, provide commercial guidance, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a contract/commercial management role, handling high value, complex contracts.
• Strong background in corporate finance, with understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and cost management.
• Foundational experience in complex negotiations and stakeholder management under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of contract terms and construction industry regulations, able to apply them to projects.
• Contributing to developing processes to improve and maximise growth.
• Drafts and develops robust Commercial documents with Legal to protect interests and maximise opportunities.
• Ensure the organisation complies with the contract obligations as stated.
• Communicates with internal and external parties to clarify terms and financial aspects of contracts.
• Coaches and develops employees on best practices for managing complex contract issues.
• Nurtures relationships with clients to ensure long term delivery and value for the company.
• Involvement in negotiating and agreeing contracts prior to contract placement.

Role information

• The Commercial/Contract Manager provides Commercial oversight and control to ensure delivery of projects in line with client-side commercial arrangements in line with company strategy and both operational and financial targets.
• The Commercial/Contract Manager manages key contracts along with liaising with internal and external stakeholders on our major contracts.
• The Commercial/Contract Manager promotes contract awareness and provides advice on Commercial matters in protecting the interests and maximising opportunities

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Proven experience in a contract /commercial management role, particularly in handling high value, complex, contracts.
• Good background in corporate finance, with a good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Foundational experience in complex negotiations and stakeholder management, demonstrating an ability to handle high-pressure situations with tact and professionalism.
• Strong knowledge of contract terms and construction industry regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them to projects.
