Job Title: Commercial Catering Gas Engineer

Salary: From GBP43,000 DOE + Benefits (Salary negotiable for the right candidate)

Hours: Monday Thursday 8 30, Friday 8 00

Are you an experienced Commercial Catering Gas Engineer looking for a secure and rewarding role with excellent work life balance and long-term career prospects?

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Catering Gas Engineer to join one of the UK s leading independent building services businesses. With a strong presence in South Wales, the company specialises in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Facilities Services, Offsite Modular Design & Construction, and cutting-edge Energy and Low-Carbon Technologies.

What We Offer:

• Basic Salary from GBP43,000 (dependent on experience)
• Company Van
• Daily travel allowance of GBP6 to GBP20 depending on site location
• Out-of-hours call out rota (only once per month) with extra financial bonus
• 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

Your Responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering kitchen equipment
• Diagnosing faults on gas-powered catering systems
• Working across South Wales in a customer-facing, field-based role

What We re Looking For:

• Relevant Comcat qualifications (e.g., COMCAT 1, 2, 3, 5)
• LPG & FGAS refrigeration certification (advantageous)
• A full UK driving licence
• Excellent fault-finding skills and customer service approach
