Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Catering Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking service team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and expanding business serving a wide range of clients across London and the South East, providing expert support to the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial kitchen equipment, with a strong understanding of both gas and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial catering equipment, including but not limited to: Combi ovens, dishwashers, glasswashers, fryers, griddles, and other catering appliances.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, ensuring minimum downtime for customers.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional communication with clients on site.
• Complete job reports, service sheets, and any associated documentation accurately.
• Comply with all health, safety, and gas safety regulations.

Key Requirements

• Valid CCN1 and COMCAT 1 & 3 qualifications.
• Gas Safe Registered (Natural Gas & LPG).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant electrical experience (18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, or City & Guilds in Electrics).
• Strong fault‑finding, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
• Good understanding of electrical and gas safety procedures.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with Rational Combi Ovens (SCC & iCombi Pro - Electric & Gas).
• Familiarity with warewashing and commercial catering appliances.
• COMCAT 2, 4 & 5 certifications (advantageous but not essential).
• F‑Gas qualification (beneficial but not required).

Working Hours & Benefits

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (30‑minute unpaid lunch).
• Company van, fuel card, and tools provided.
• Comprehensive in‑house training provided on core equipment lines and specialist systems.

Salary & Terms

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
