Job description

A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client based on the South Coast near Brighton. They are a leading company in commercial catering equipment, supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. The company offers full turnkey solutions, including service, maintenance, repairs, and installations for all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has arisen due to increased demand and new contracts.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide service, maintenance, and breakdown support for catering equipment such as fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers.
• Attend sites across East Anglia, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding on catering appliances, including cook line equipment and warewashing systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Comcat 1, 3, and 5 qualifications are required.
• Electrical catering experience is essential; gas experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Rational ovens and dishwashers is a plus.
• Must have a full UK driving license.
• Live within East Anglia, covering Norfolk and Suffolk.

Benefits:

• Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 depending on experience.
• 40-hour workweek with door-to-door paid travel.
• 1 in 6 weeks on-call rota with paid retainer.
• Company van, fuel card, and personal use allowed.
• Overtime at 1.5x and 2x rates.
• Holiday entitlement starting at 21 days, rising to 25 days after 3 years, plus bank holidays.
