Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a COMCAT commercial catering engineer to service, maintain, and repair gas-fired and electrical equipment across Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex. The role may involve light installation and caseload includes care homes, hospitals, schools, pubs and other client sites.

You must hold COMCATs 1,3,5 (LPG beneficial) and be able to pass a DBS check. Expect a 42–50k basic, door-to-door travel pay, and a company van with tools and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Experience on gas-fired and electrical catering equipment.
• COMCATs 1,3,5 preferred; LPG beneficial.
• Rational or F Gas certification beneficial but not essential.
• Able to pass DBS check.
• Based in or near BH; Dorset or Hampshire acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Cover Dorset, Hampshire and West Sussex.
• Provide service, maintenance and repairs on gas/electrical catering equipment.
• Occasional installation work.
• Work with care homes, hospitals, schools, pubs and other customers.

My client is a well known and liked commercial catering equipment supplier - install, design, full projects, service, maintenance and repairs all under one roof. This Hampshire based company was born from engineers that had a better way of doing things, a more customer focused way of doing things - this means their clients will always get looked after and always come back in the future. They are expanding, and want engineers they can build things around..

They are recruiting for a COMCAT commercial catering engineer, you will be:

• Covering Dorset, Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex
• Providing service, maintenance, and repairs on electrical and gas fired commercial catering equipment
• Doing a little bit of installation
• Working on ovens, burners, fryers, grills, dishwashers etc.
• Working with a variety of clients from care homes and hospitals to schools, garden centres, pubs, places that have carparks

Skills Needed to be a COMCAT engineer:

• Experience working on gas fired and electrical catering equipment needed
• COMCAT's 1,3,5 needed - LPG would be beneficial
• Rational course or F Gas cert would be beneficial but not essential
• You need to be able to pass a DBS check
• living in or around the BH postcode would be ideal but would at anyone in Dorset or hampshire

Salary and Benefits of a COMCAT engineer:

• 42-50k basic depending on skills and experience
• Door to door travel pay
• No Call Out Rota but overtime is available
