Job summary

AWE plc is seeking a Commercial Capability Manager in Reading. The role focuses on developing and embedding a full capability framework, including competencies, training, development and mentoring for Commercial staff.

You will identify skill gaps, design training programmes and collaborate with department heads to create tailored development plans. The role reports to the Senior Capability Manager and supports Flexible/hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

Experience in a Procurement/Commercial function.
Experience within HR or other people-related functions with focus on skills and development.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity.
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and embed a full capability framework covering competencies, training, development and mentoring.
Identify and evaluate skill gaps within Commercial and implement training programmes.
Work with department heads to tailor development plans for each role.
Report into the Senior Capability Manager and align with HR processes.
