What You Will Do:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive commercial and bidding strategies that align with the company's values and objectives.
  2. Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle from RFQ through to response document stage, ensuring high-quality proposals that meet client needs and stand out in the marketplace.
  3. Create and manage costing and pricing models, budgets, EACs, and cashflow profiles for bids.
  4. Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure profitable agreements while minimising risks and ensuring legal compliance with regulations.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to enhance opportunities and drive growth.
  6. Support the wider team by monitoring performance during project delivery to ensure objectives are met with the company's current product portfolio.

What You Will Bring:

  1. Proven experience in commercial management, bid management, or related roles within the Engineering, Manufacturing within Defence or other mainstream sectors.
  2. Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract management, and bid processes.
  3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  4. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and bid management software, with a strategic mindset for developing successful commercial strategies.
  6. Experience with Single Source Resource would be advantageous but experience within competitive bidding process is essential.

Location:
