A well-established engineering business operating in the aerospace supply chain is seeking a commercially minded and organised individual to join its growing team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting cost estimation, supplier coordination, and internal commercial operations. It’s ideal for someone early in their career or looking to grow into a commercial or technical support role within a high-performance engineering environment.

Role Overview

  • Work alongside technical, commercial, and sales teams to gather input for project quotations.
  • Assist with the preparation of costing models and pricing proposals.
  • Learn to read and interpret engineering documentation over time.
  • Help identify cost-effective supply chain options by liaising with external vendors.
  • Maintain and update internal commercial databases and documentation.
  • Support general administrative tasks, including document handling and communications.
  • Attend internal meetings to contribute to planning and progress tracking.

What We’re Looking For

  • A motivated, detail-focused team player.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ideally holds an HND, degree, or equivalent in a business, engineering, or technical subject.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and standard digital tools.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or commercial support role is a plus.
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environments is desirable, though not essential.
