Job summary

CityFibre is seeking a Commercial and Contract Manager to lead the commercial and contractual management of its largest, high-value telecoms supplier contracts. You will drive forecasting, spend management and risk across multiple workstreams while building strong supplier relationships and delivering value for money.

You will also provide commercial and risk oversight to key stakeholders and lead a team of Quantity Surveyors to enhance capability and performance within a large-scale operation.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management or Quantity Surveying experience managing complex contracts.
• Experience overseeing major programmes or high-value contracts, ideally £150m+.
• Strong contract management, governance and supplier negotiation skills.
• Ability to use financial and operational data to drive performance and value.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Telecoms experience and relevant qualifications (RICS, MRICS, MCIOB, APM or Prince2) advantageous.

Joining us as a Commercial and Contract Manager

This is a key leadership role within the Supply Chain & Supplier Performance team, responsible for the commercial and contractual management of CityFibre's largest and most complex operational contracts, ensuring effective supplier performance, commercial control, value for money, and strong business partnerships across critical network workstreams.

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll bring significant commercial and contract management experience within a large-scale, operationally focused environment, with the ability to lead people, influence stakeholders, challenge constructively and manage complex supplier relationships

You’ll also have:
