Position: Commercial Analytics ManagerPrivate Label Solutions (PLS), one of Expedia Group's fastest-growing divisions, specializes in delivering innovative API and Template solutions for our B2B partners worldwide. As the partner-focused arm of Expedia Group, PLS empowers businesses with tailored solutions to drive growth and success.
Our partners include loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel managers, and online retailers. Through solutions like Rapid API, White Label Template, and TAAP, PLS provides seamless hotel booking experiences, connecting partners to over 700,000 properties across 250,000 destinations with customizable integrations, extensive supply, and competitive rates.
As the Commercial Analytics Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our rapidly expanding B2B business. You will lead the development of insights, shape analytical strategies, and promote data-driven decision-making to identify revenue opportunities and optimize performance. Your responsibilities include evaluating performance drivers, analyzing revenue trends, and providing actionable recommendations, collaborating with global teams across Technology, Product, Commercial, Finance, and Machine Learning.
Candidates should possess a deep understanding of partner business models, supply dynamics, and market trends, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical skills, technical expertise, commercial acumen, excellent communication, and a passion for technology, trading performance analysis, and travel.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed analyses to identify performance drivers, providing actionable insights and quantifying their impact on partner growth and revenue.
- Develop scalable frameworks, dashboards, and performance metrics to deliver real-time insights and support data-driven decisions.
- Lead end-to-end analyses to uncover revenue opportunities and develop data-backed business cases for growth.
- Present complex analyses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external partners, translating data insights into business outcomes.
- Represent the TAAP Analytics team in cross-functional forums and workshops, ensuring alignment with analytics strategies.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and Machine Learning teams to innovate and enhance business performance.
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of analytical experience in a data-rich commercial environment such as online travel, e-commerce, or banking.
- Strong understanding of revenue drivers, market dynamics, and performance metrics.
- Experience analyzing trading performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Proactive and creative problem-solver with a passion for tackling complex business challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data for diverse audiences.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and their application to business challenges.
- Proficiency with SQL, R, or similar tools for analyzing large datasets, with demonstrated ability to uncover trading drivers in digital environments.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau to craft impactful dashboards.
