Job summary

Speedy Hire in the UK is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join the Commercial & Operations Finance team on a permanent basis. You will work with data to identify trends, provide high-quality analysis, and turn numbers into actionable insights to support decision-making.

You will collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Sales and Operations, develop reporting and dashboards, challenge assumptions, and propose recommendations to drive performance and shareholder value.

• Produce, interpret and analyse commercial and operational reporting with clear insight.
• Analyse customer and product spend, utilisation and profitability.
• Undertake trend analysis and support improvement plans.
• Provide commercial analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain meaningful management information reports.
• Interrogate data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
• Support capital investment analysis through product and customer trends.
• Develop dashboards to improve accessibility of information.
• Undertake ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytics processes.
